The Sip Better wine club is a teeny tiny business that I run out of Minneapolis. But that doesn't mean I do it alone! Below, meet three of the people who keep the Sip Better juice flowing behind the scenes. What is your role at Sip Better?
Spreadsheet Queen: I manage Sip Better's social media calendar and content.
Favorite weird wine pairing?
Sometimes I eat a can of black olives for dinner + a glass of Albariño.
Favorite place you've traveled?
When I studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro, I traveled inland to Ouro Preto for Easter weekend, and it was the most beautiful experience in such a historic town. They do an overnight art festival to paint the streets with flower petals for Easter morning and the entire town does a passion play in the streets.
How about a hidden talent?
I’ve played classical piano since age 4 and guitar since age 7.
What are 3 words your BFF would use to describe you??
Enthusiastic, motivator, level-headed

IT’S AMAAAZING!! It’s a small business with Midwest roots that is globally connected. You have sommelier + queen Leslee getting to know each member and hand-picking wines for them individually, you’re supporting small wine growers and family-owned wineries, and you’re only being sent wines that are environmentally-conscious and carefully avoid all the additives of many mass-produced wines.
What is your role at Sip Better?

Cold leftover pizza and a Rhone blend.
Favorite place you've traveled?
Istria = Truffle Country + Amazing Seafood + SloCro Wine!
How about a hidden talent?
A “Star Baker” who could make Mary Berry swoon.
What are 3 words your BFF would use to describe you?
Playful, witty, easy-going

What is your role at Sip Better?
Creative Ninja: I make things pretty! I'm in charge of most of the club's imagery and marketing materials.
Favorite weird wine pairing?
Anything with lots of gooey melted cheese and dry sparkling wine.
Favorite place you've traveled?
This might sound boring, but I'm obsessed with California. A couple of years ago, a friend and I biked down Highway One, from the Bay Area to Big Sur. It was a challenging ride but that gorgeous coastline made me smile the whole way there!
How about a hidden talent?
I know my way around a fancy cheese case--quiz me!
What are 3 words your BFF would use to describe you?
Goofy, warm-hearted, perceptive.

Leslee is a champ at matching people up with wines they will LOVE, without making them feel silly. That approachable attitude is what's missing from the wine conversation! Not to mention, Leslee quite literally picks out EVERY SINGLE WINE for EVERY SINGLE MEMBER, EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm amazed at her commitment. There are no algorithms here!
