- This is your reminder that Girl Scout cookies sales start next month! Their newest cookie, Adventurefuls, look super scrumptious. Quick question: Should we do Girls Scout cookie wine pairings?!

It's baking season!
Whether you get down with a little sugar and flour in your own kitchen or opt to buy a smattering of holiday cookies from a local bake shop, we don't judge. But we do HIGHLY recommend you crack open a bottle of wine when you snuggle in with your dessert plate this winter.
Pairing wine to Christmas cookies and other festive treats is as easy as any other food and drink combination. Just remember that "like goes with like" (i.e. citrusy whites with lemon pound cake) and a good bottle of sparkling wine works beautifully with most decadent treats.
Below are a few of our favorite wine and cookie pairings to get you started. Happy Holidays and merry munching!

Remember trick or treating? Unless you've got a little kid in your life, those days of skipping around the neighborhood hauling pillow cases stuffed with fun size candy are loooong gone.
But who says adults can't indulge in a little sugar on October 31st? And! Who says wine can't be a part of the spooky equation?
In the video above, Sip Better's sommelier, Leslee, has picked out a bundle of wines that go well with all the Halloween classics: Snickers, Kit Kats, Reeses, and more! Go grab a mixed bag of chocolate bars, a few friends, and follow along for a cozy night of Halloween-themed wine tasting. Bonus points if you play Hocus Pocus in the background!
Why is stuffing so often the star of the Thanksgiving table? Is it because it feels like a soft, warm hug? Probably! I've got a crazy delicious recipe that I like to whip out for holiday meals, courtesy of my buddy Chef Corey Meier (Create Catering). It's so good it went a tad viral when we debuted it on The Jason Show! Check it out below and don't forget the wine pairing!

Hosting the holidays this year? Holy Stress, amiright? Not only do you want to please your guests with delicious vittles, but you're also thinking about the music, the decor, the flow of the evening...
And then there are the beverages.
Ideally, you would stock a crazy supply of beverages to please every person's personal palate, but that's tricky without spending loads of cash and ending up with lots of extra bottles you might not be crazy about once all of the guests have gone home.
Let's keep it simple, shall we? Here are three different wines that are friendly enough to appeal to a range of people, while also suiting the harvest vibes of a holiday meal. Don't knock yourself out. After all, the most important part of a holiday gathering is the warmth of good company, right?'
